Have a problem with World of Warcraft. It works great except that under Vista all my in game settings are reset everytime i start and i have to redo the settings each time. Any ideas on what is causing this?

World of Warcraft
Greetings. I know this might sound stupid but its true "ITS BETA" =)
ITS BETA, it means its at testing stage to find bugs. Your and mine task is to find and report bugs, you found one and please report it.
Wow has been patched for vista or vista beta as far as i know...
Happy testing =)

What the hell sort of answer is that, Rahi?
I'm quite sure he KNOWS it's a beta. That doesn't mean he should just accept that something isn't working. Yes he should bug report it but these forums are filled with some knowledgeable, helpful people managing to sort out some of these bugs without us having to wait for RC1.
Pity you're not one of them.

You might try running WOW as administrator to see if it does the trick. Its possible the folder/file where wow saves settings has wrong permissions or something. (or the file could be set read only for some reason.)

Got it running, did something simular to what you suggested. Went a step further and found a way to disable how vista always asks your permission to install or run programs. Its working fine now. Next weekend ill try scaling it back to where I just have the permissions set for the folder itself. Thanks for the help
